I watched the first half, and it seemed Tacko wasn't getting many touches. Everybody was shooting 3s, maybe trying to impress Stevens and Ainge in the audience. You get the ball down low to the kid, it's a sure 2 pts. Set some plays up for him!
One problem with Tacko is his unique skill set. Robert Williams is the closest, but not quite the same. Tacko can reach above the basket without jumping. That means you get him the ball near the basket, he just drops it into the basket. No wonder he was a 75% shooter in college. That kind of productivity doesn't grow on trees.
You want to get production out of him, you have to play to his strengths. I just wonder if they want to do that. We'll see.
