Officially official according to Woj and others. Welcome and hope you enjoy Boston!  ;D

Hopefully we can build a better team around you than what you had in Charlotte.

Still looks like Ainge isn't done, but either way I'm excited for this new chapter! Love Kemba and think this is a great fit.

Free agent Kemba Walker has agreed to sign a four-year, $141M maximum contract to join the Boston Celtics, Excel Sports agent Jeff Schwartz tells ESPN.

I haven't seen a thread for this yet, if there is one please merge it.

So excited!!!

Indeed. It will be great having a point guard who understands New England, and wants to be here.

It’ll be nice to have an all star PG that wants to be here. Did we not complete the sign and trade? Does this mean Horford is officially gone?

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Fantastic signing! Our PG dominance should continue with Kemba, who has a much less flaky personality than Kyrie. Very exciting!

It's been said recently, but big signing for the franchise and city, as well. After signing Horford and Hayward, and trading for Kyrie, the sky was the limit...then everything came crashing down. AD didn't want to be here, we were losing all of our best players...and then, KEMBA!! Not only did he single handedly save the reputation of our franchise, but he is a dynamite player. The narrative for this franchise will hopefully be a positive one for the forseeable future.

There's still time in the future to do a S&T of some sort (up until July 6 I believe).
