There have been recent reports saying the Bucks were fearing that we'd offer Brogdon an offer sheet that would be "too much for them", but they breathed a sigh of relief when they turned their attention more towards Kemba, since it likely meant we would be out of the running for Brogdon.
This was also tweeted by a Bucks reporter recently:
Bulls, Suns, Mavericks, Celtics (if no Kemba) listed as teams that could offer a “toxic offer sheet”, front loaded to Malcolm Brogdon making it difficult for Bucks to match.
I'm just wondering, wouldn't we have been better off going after Brogdon, and then using the MLE and remaining 10M in cap space to add 2 bigs? I don't think Brogdon would get more than 25M a year in FA, unless I'm wrong about his market.
I love Kemba btw, but wouldn't Brogdon and adding 2 bigs be a wiser move?
