Kemba? Really? When all you had to do was placate Kyrie and then we’d have him, Durant and Tatum this time next year so we could make a legit run at banner 18. No, instead our Big 3 (or is it little 3?) is going to be the supposed star the Hornets no longer want to commit to, whatever is left of Hayward, and maybe a developed Tatum and/or Brown (there is no guarantee they will ever beall-stars). Best-case scenario, we are going to be to 2019-2022 what Atlanta was to 2013-2016. Worst-case, we’re 5th or 6th in the East with first-round exits or a second-round exit if we’re lucky. Meanwhile, do not be surprised if the Lakers win one or two championships during that timeframe. Welcome to the treadmill. Quite a sad end to all of the supposed “asset-building.”

Lol. From your highly unrealistic trade ideas (putting it lightly) to saying "placating Kyrie would have gotten us Durant), your proposals aren't really grounded in reality.

We are on the cusp of signing an All-NBA point guard and you're complaining about missing out on things that weren't even possibilities

Lol at the "HURRR DURR KYRIE IS BETTER THAN KEMBA BY MILES" take, this is as bad as the "HURR DURR WE CAN'T HAVE A 30 MILLION DOLLAR BENCH PLAYER" take imo.

Also staying on the treadmill gets us into better shape 8)

Yea I think I finally talked myself into the "screw Kyrie" wagon, but not as harsh. Wished he was just respectful and be straight-forward, and none of that flat-earth spewing nonsense or his nonsensical personality that's hard to understand. Basically, he's too much baggage.

Kyrie is just a misunderstood genius who is coming back with a vengeance. Team LeBron is playing all of you like a fool: they’re pushing all of this crap because what LeBron fears more than anything is Kyrie winning a championship without him, particularly as a Celtic and particularly if Kyrie wins one as a Celtic and LeBron never wins one as a Laker (and most especially if Kyrie beat LeBron in the Finals). Don’t forget that the Cavs’ championship-winning shot in 2016 was all Kyrie.

It’s all fake news and Kyrie and DA are going to have the biggest laugh on Sunday evening when Kyrie re-signs and speaks up about all of this nonsense. Rozier and Brown are going to be history, but Kyrie is coming back with his buddy KD.

Placate Kyrie?  With what?
with what I ask again?

Hope the Kemba pursuit is successful.  Team ball is back!

You know, Kyrie can pass, and he did alright....but at certain points of game and season, his passes are aren't so joyful.  A kind of shoving motion.... with an eff u attached to the inevitable turnover that resentful passing leads to.  And everyone feels it.  It's all forgivable under the right circumstances...given his genius...but those circumstances are tricky.  Go to LA Kyrie!

With a healthy squad I'm calling ECF against Toronto (Kawhi stayed)...then let's see what happens.

so Green is trolling...first he says placate Kyrie, then he states that Kyrie is really playing everyone and is coming back.

Kyrie, is that you?

Not trolling. A bit of this perhaps:

Rofl. This whole post is just hilarious. I hope for your sake you don't genuinely believe any of this

Chemistry matters.

As for the placate Kyrie that is not, nor I do hope it is ever, what the Celtics are about.   We have always been a franchise where the name on the front of the jersey is more important that the name on the back.

I would like to apologize. I was going through serious denial because the thought of Irving and KD, following believing for months we were going to have Irving and AD, was just too alluring.

I’ve taken this time off and become a HUGE fan of Kemba. Sportsman of the year in 2017-2018. Furthermore, he may not be as good one-on-one as Kyrie, but I have no doubt he is going to outperform Kyrie and lift up his teammates in Brad Stevens’ system. If Kawhi heads west, why not us?

I can envision Kemba and Tatum leading us to the promised land.

I think if anyone here told you they were not upset at any point in the offseason they were lying, some of us just hide it better than others.  It's ok to vent all human being need to be able to do so.
