DA, go get Noah Vonleh and Thomas Bryant (both Indiana Hoosiers),

or Trade Timelord + Yabu = Mitchell Robinson

Another name I was thinking of is Marc Gasol.  if Kawai leaves for the Clippers I can’t imagine Gasol stays in Toronto.  He may be priced out with our exceptions, but you never know.

Yes, at over $20 mm for this season. Not viable.

Pretty sure Gasol opted into his like $30 mil option already.

We don't need to overpay for serviceable bigs, honestly. I mean, we won 53 games with undersized front court of Al, KO, Jerebko, Amir and Zeller. This year's market will provide better production than that group aside from Al.

We only need the MLE and veteran min to get these needs.

This guy also seems to be rumored with the Celtics:

Vincent Poirier SICK Highlights! SICK indeed!

He seems a lot more bouncy than Theis is. Theis never seemed to fully return from his rookie-season injury

There are a lot of bigman out there.

Id try for DeAndre Jordan or Willie Cauley-Stein with that exception and
Frank Kaminsky or Dewayne Dedmon with veteran minimums.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

The crazy thing is that we were super thin in the front court when Horford and Baynes were on the team. Often one of them was out injured to boot.

So now we need to make up the that thinness, plus Horford, plus Baynes. We need 3 big guys who can really play.
I imagine we're going to see a lot of small ball at the 4 with Hayward, G Williams and Ojeleye.

I'd be thrilled with convincing Robin Lopez, Dewayne Dedmond and Javale McGee to come here. Heck I'd give Greg Monroe another minimum contract.

Is DeAndre Jordan bad for the locker room? Honest question here.

Amen. There seems to be an ample supply of centers (a lot of free agents, including unrestricted free agents) in comparison to the demand for centers (teams with a need going into next year).

That means the price is likely to drop. I wouldn't panic and trade away a rotation player or future asset, because you can probably get someone decent with that $4.8m exception or whatever it is. All you need is someone who can be active on D, body up other bigs in the post, roll to the rim, etc.
