D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns were huddling as recently as yesterday, league sources, while the Wolves have been canvassing the league to make the trades they need to make that can seal the former Nets All-Star as the new point guard in Minnesota

Yeah, still seems like he's waiting on Kawhi to make his decision. Could very well end up in LAC with Kawhi if he goes there.

A LAC decision would also benefit us another way - they're likely to help us out with a S&T to allow us to operate as an over-the-cap team and have access to the full MLE. While if he went somewhere like Philly that is unlikely to occur.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I read a few days ago that they have been talking about playing together since they were in high school.

I hope it happens.

True. Basically we're rooting for Kawhi and Al to go to the Clippers at this point!

Well, no - we still want Al here lol But Kawhi should go to the Knicks Clippers with Butler!

Until the Sixers get a good GM again, their 1st rule should be don't do any deals with Ainge.

and here is something both interesting and meaningless. the pelicans now have SIX players on their roster from Duke.

Frank Jackson, J.J. Redick, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson, Jahlil Okafor, Trajan Langdon

Isn't Trajan Langdon like 40?

...oh he's the GM.

I'm resigned to Al not returning. But you are right, in a perfect world that's the best situation

So lots of activity but nothing on Kawhi, Klay, Butler, Russell and Al.  What other big names am I missing?

Klay is the really surprising one.  Is there any reason GSW would hold back his deal?  It was supposedly all ready to go yesterday.

Clippers would have to move Gallinari to sign Kawhi and Butler.

Are we all just ignoring your ridiculous post of saying Harris was similar to walker despite their completely different careers and both being in their 20s. Asking for a friend
