Per @WindhorstESPN on ESPN, the #Warriors could land D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade deal that sends Kevin Durant to the #Nets. This could get bigger.

What on Earth could the incentive be for Brooklyn?

Let me guess, a future first?
Early on, Bobby Marks indicated the Nets were 1.2M short of being able to give KD and Kyrie their Max.

I'm still scratching my head about the Brogdon trade. They are weakened by that loss for sure.

East is definitely in play next season, especially with Durant in rehab.  If Kyrie leaves, wow.  Boston has to figure this out tonight regarding lack of center.

What does everyone think? About $1.7-$2.0 billion in total contract value will be agreed to today? That is sick.

5 years $180 for Harris to PHI is ridiculous. I guess that means Al isn't going there.

Have to think that, right? That's a really poor fit if so. Good news for us.
i think that depends. If i saw it mentioned that if TWO of harris, butler, and redick (note the single "k" please) did not return then philly might have enough cap space to sign harford.

maybe another S&T is in the works?  ::)

I know PHI sort of had to do it, but good grief Tobias Harris getting 5/180M?  :o

Honestly if Butler leaves, I think PHI regresses. Already lost Reddick and their bench remains thin.

Free agent forward Tobias Harris has agreed to a five-year, $180M contract to return to the Philadelphia 76ers, his agent and father, Torrel Harris of Unique Sports Management, tells ESPN.

They'll be regretting that contract for a long time.

Interesting that people are saying Harris is an overpay but the Nets won free agency with Durant. At least Harris can walk and doesn’t have a potential career ending injury...

$36 million a year for tobias harris? wow.
Considering some of the other contracts given so far I wouldn't consider that a wow.

Remove your Sixers fandom for a few minutes and reassess.

Thanks.
He actually took a bit less than his full Max.  If you all thought a near all-star was going to sign for much less than that, you need to go back to remedial NBA financials course.

not a bad compensation for Durant leaving. But how would Russel coexist with Curry? Bench or planning to trade Russel for another player

There are going to be a lot of bargains to be had when the cash runs out!
