I am just not believing the $112 for 4, it is too much and no one can figure which team would do it because it was only a discussion not an offer.
Sign and trade for Capela or Al just bargaining with Danny and he will be back.
New York, LA Clippers and Sacramento are the most logical options. They have the cap space and in need of a veteran PF/C, who can bring them over the top (playoffs/contender). New York and Sacramento have a history of making questionable deals.
But I doubt New York had Horford on their mind, when they cleared cap space, and from what we've heard it seems like a long-prepared offer.
So I believe that the
Sacramento Kings desperately want Al Horford as their veteran leader who can guide their young talented squad into the playoffs. It has been reported that re-signing Cauley-Stein is not a priority for the Kings and that only makes sense if they have their eye on another big man to pair with Bagley. The athletism and rebounding of Bagley combined with the intelligence, defensive versatility, passing and shooting of Horford is attractive. And GM Divac has spoken about his impatience to build a contender quickly and it's the last year Hield is on a rookie-contract.
Fox-Hield-Barnes(?)-Bagley-Horford (+ Ferrell, Bogdanovic, Bjelica, Giles)
The story adds up.
(I hadn't thought of Atlanta, pairing Collins/Horford makes sense as well, but a little weird for Al to go back to the franchise he left because they didn't want to pay him enough money and now return because another franchise didn't want to pay him enough. That would be rather ironic.)
