"In any case, they didn't sign him as a free agent only to cut him a few weeks later."
Green and Zeller are going nowhere for different reasons. Green is staying based on his instant offense ability and his style fitting in with fast paced hoops.
"Don't get the comparison. Looks to me like their games are really different."
I mean guys like Eddie House, Jordan Crawford, Pressey, Gerald Green, Evan Turner are Heinsohn's energy guys. Gerald Wallace was the same player for defense. We got him after the crash, but there were still times he'd come in and all of a sudden our defense woke up.
If we are stale on offense, Gerald Green is a clear cut option with much more experience than Jaylen Brown who will be more dependent on a game's pace to get his easy layups.
Thanks for the confirmation of Brad giving a good grade to Jordan Mickey. That about does it. I feel bad for James Young, but he needed to feel a sense of urgency from day one in the NBA, not wait to be put on the hot seat for year three. He had to show a bit more.
RJ must have sensed he was on the hot seat too and dominated the Knick's game. RJ won that game for us.
I'd like to see Young get the chance to shoot up 10-15 shots and play 30 minutes. I need to see him prove he can do that and not look like a total scrub. RJ Hunter might be older "in real life," but NBA wise this is the start of RJ's second year and he's done everything asked of him so far.
