Still a month away before teams start looking to trade off players.

unless a team has a need like Clippers

Trade Sullinger to Doc for help at PF for ... wait for it ... Paul Pierce ... we need a mentor for all these kids and he is tied up for 3 year deal with clips at reasonable money.

Bring Pierce back.  He can shore up our sf position and be a mentor to the kids

Not the stupidest deal, he brings shooting..

That ship has sailed.

He's declining rapidly, and his shooting is Exhibit A - mostly shooting spot-up threes, and overall .338; more importantly, trading Sullinger for him squanders a much more valuable asset. Not going to happen from Ainge's pov.

The proposed trade is non-sensical from the Clippers' pov, too, since they're weak at sf and already deep at pf and c. On the plus side, they'd improve their depth, since Sully at this point is the better player.

Sullinger played better last night in limited minutes.  But I still think he will be all over the place in terms of shooting and performance.   The guys is at best a rotation player but he is not a franchise building block.

PP is home in LA, I doubt he wants to come back here until his career is over.
