I am a huge Avery Bradley fan. His defense is great, his shot selection is solid (how many of those jumpers he takes are contested? not many).

In general I try to avoid threads about him because I don't want to get wrapped up in an argument on how good he is. I think he is having a pretty good year, considering he has been told not to use his biggest asset (full court pressure). He is still young, and he will improve. Right now he is the type of 3 and d player that all teams need, but I expect him to improve and be so much more.

I am certainly getting tired of seeing anti Bradley threads every time he has a bad game.
He has?

I just wish he wouldn't miss so many layups.

Ah, didn't realize you meant he was being asked to play some real defense.

Yeah, since his place on the all-defensive 2nd team last year was earned by playing fake defense  ::)

Just because Stevens asked Bradley to let up on his relentless full-court pressure to play more of a team-oriented defense, does not mean his defense last yr was any less impressive.

Yeah, I don't think that Bradley's intense one-on-one defense was a bad thing.  I think it was a lot more disruptive than anything we've seen out of our current defense.

Yeah, I agree. There's been plenty of games recently where I think Bradley's old defensive tendencies would have helped quite a bit. Disrupting the opposing team's ball-handlers is always a good way to cause turnovers and turn defense into offense.
