I loved Evans his rookie year but he has really dropped off in my eyes the last two seasons. If we could get him for a cheap package it would be hard to turn him down, but im not going out of my way to get this guy. he isnt a very good leader and seems to be bad with chemistry. there is no way that i trade Pierce for him. that would be ludacris. But if there was someway to get him using our draft picks and a couple contracts I wouldnt mind seeing him first off the bench.

So exactly what is a reasonable package!? There's so much Paul Pierce for pick 5 talk on here... Is a first + Jajuan or Bass or Ray reasonable?

I dont really see anything we have as very reasonable so therefore I wouldnt try to make the trade.

Thoughts off the top of my head would be a sign and trade involving Ray, but why would the Kings trade a young potential guy for a 38 year old coming off a second ankle surgery...And Ray has the freedom to choose his destination, he isnt going to accept a sign and trade to the Kings.

Theres no way I trade Pierce for him. Theres no way I trade Pierce for number 5. End of discussion.

I would rather have Bass then Evans. We need size, we already have Rondo and Bradley at the guard spots.

Other than that, we have nothing to trade except JJJ and Steamah, and I dont think there is a package involving them that the Kings would take.

Meanwhile, the Kings might be interested in moving their pick for a big man if Connecticut center Andre Drummond doesn’t drop to them at No. 5, says a source. “They have enough perimeter guys,” he says. “In fact, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if they saw what Marcus Thornton or Tyreke Evans, and maybe their pick, brought them. Probably not enough, but they really want another big to place alongside (DeMarcus) Cousins.”

Yeah. Moving Pierce for Evans and the 5 is one of those fantasy trades that shouldn't and isn't going to happen. I'm really only interested in Evans if we can buy low, and throwing Pierce out with the bathwater in this deal is a blow-up, since Garnett's clearly going to retire in the wake of a move like that.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

Tyreke Evans's stock is at an all time low. That's why I'm so darn interested. He's essentially worthless to the Kings (with the whole Cousins situation) but has so much potential with us.

All I see is a high potential player with locker room issues. Don't get all the naysaying.

And I agree with you. No Pierce trade.

I sure hope Danny pulls something amazing off...our firsts for Evans, Jason Thompson (and maybe their second round pick)?

A three team trade with Memphis?
Kings get Rudy Gay, both Celtics' firsts
Memphis gets Kings's first
Celtics get Tyreke Evans, Memphis pick?

Man, we have a chance at getting a 22 year old athletic monster for cheap and all you guys talk about is Pierce for their 5th?

Imagine the same core from this year with more health and the youth infusion from Tyreke. Hot dang!
