I learn my numbers if everyone else takes a statistics class

ok ok
Top 25 players in the NBA

Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo
Rondo

Everyone in agreement?  Yeah, he's that good.

Maybe you should relearn your numbers. Neither can you count to 25 but you don't seem to understand that 50 is higher than 45

thank you!!

thats a small sample u r using

For their careers Rondo shoots better from the field. His numbers hover at 50 % ( disregarding his 41% rookie year). Monta hovers around 45%.
killin em with the stats. The proof is right there.
sorry but i was talking about the guy you are arguing. He showed you proof that Rondo is a better player.

exactly my point,  not even you believe in that list.  furthermore, when was that list made and whom is ranking this?  do statistics alone get you into hof or do coaches gm's etc truly determine a players ranking?

In ESPN's top 500 player list, which I have criticized for some of their player placements, Rondo was #17, Ellis #41.

I think that is a pretty fair assessment of where Ellis stands in this league currently.

DO NOT PUT WORDS INTO MY MOUTH!!!

I said I have criticized some placements like having Brad Miller, Michael Redd and other severely injured players in the top 300 or so. They also placed too many of the rookies way too low. But the top 50-75 players are very well done, IMO.

read the list and the credits to find out who did the list but it was a comprehensive list done this summer by a group of knowledgeable NBA pundits

Please, Jiri, just stop.

Everyone here is entitled to an opinion, and far be it from me to take your's away from you (and no-I'm not a mod, so I can't), but you're embaraasing yourself.  I mean this in the kindest of ways.  Please, just think before you post.

I understand,  but no one has yet to supply their top 25 player list.  until then, i see no way anyone has yet to form an opinion with more basis than mine.  how can rondo be a top 25 point guard if we cant even agree on a list?  Rondo's greatest asset was his youth an athleticism in 08 and beyond.  however, its not working now.  monta, for instance, doesnt rely on the same attributes rondo does. this drops rondo below monta in my opinion. now if someone can put a list together then perhaps i agree with you knee.

Please, Jiri, just stop.
