please.  the celtics would be scoring 100 plus a night and never look back.  instead we got air rondo

If that were true, then Ellis would own a higher OWS than 13.7 and a lower Usage percentage than 25.4%. Rondo is a 14.7 OWS with a 18.9 usage rate.

I'd think that anyone who actually witnessed last nights debacle would realize the Rondo is one heck of a player and has a tremendously positive effect on this team regardless of his flaws.  They aren't great with him due mostly to the deterioration and age of his supporting cast but without him they are terrible.

Without Rondo this team would be competing for the most ping pong balls.  Rondo is not the issue with the 1011-2012 Boston Celtics.

no no.  he would blend into the system just like every other player who has come to Boston.

Also, KG paul and Ray would kill him because he doesn't play defense. He plays the passing lanes like a bad Allen Iverson.

No player has come here expecting a starting role.

Beat me to that, and there is a big difference between Ellis and Pierce. Pierce always had the talent to play defense but his attitude wasn't the greatest at times and the maturity level was questioned.

all of these guys got talent....
especially the stars....

lets just say everyone here understand these statistics....

theres much more than stats to determine top 25 players.  rondo does not have a good rep there for sure.  cant we at least agree on that?

No we can't...you haven't mentioned one single solid point as to why

1) Rondo isn't top 25

2) Why Monta Ellis is...

Until you can write something well thought out stating as to why you feel that way, this will just keep going in circles.

Monta Ellis is better because his numbers are better and he can score.

In what universe are Harden, Monta Ellis and Eric Gordon better than Rondo?
? I had Rondo on my top 25. It wasnt in any particular order.

thats a small sample u r using

For their careers Rondo shoots better from the field. His numbers hover at 50 % ( disregarding his 41% rookie year). Monta hovers around 45%.
killin em with the stats. The proof is right there.

Clearly you don't know how to use a computer and type in NBA.COM and look at this wonderful thing called statistics. They have substance to them other than making the site look pretty.
