Yes, I think that's precisely what he meant when he said "mediocre talent".

i remember 2005, they traded for antonie, made the playoffs and got knoucked out in the first round. They would of been better off in the lotto with a chance of getting a chris paul. This year they better off in the lotto with a young team then beening in the playoffs with an old team that gonna be one and done.

I just see Morey as more likely to keep his young talent and try to trade Martin and Scola than to trade young players for a piece to add to Martin and Scola.
