Glen Davis for ______________. It really doesn’t matter. Whoever you want to put on that line. Addition by subtraction!!

as long as its not a bad contract. wait that amnesty thing there offering, can you use that on a player you get in trade? if so then i would literally trade Davis for anyone and a second round pick.
Why would you want to use it on a player you get in trade?!

you would only be taking the player in trade because someone who has multiple players they want to use the amnesty on is giving you something else (maybe a pick or 2) to take the contract on so you can use amnesty on him and they can still use it on there other player.
No-one will use a possible amnesty clause on player(s) that add up to the salary that Glenn Davis will command on his next contract. That still doesn't make any sense.

trades are going to have a higher % match in the new CBA, also i think the Celtics still have a trade exception, so they could be looking at say 4 million for Davis plus the 2.8 million on the trade exception which takes us to 6.8 million.

now were matching within say 150% and we get up to  9.75 million. still think there aren't a few teams with multiple bad contracts they want off there cap?
