Obviously I'm rooting for Boston, but I thought they would have been beat by the Knicks had the Knicks not been injured. Needless to say, I'm not expecting them to turn this series around.
I'm still angry at the Bulls for nearly punking us in 09. I'll never forgive Joaquim Noah and I have a strong suspicion it was one of the Bulls who went out of his way to write and anonymous article disrespecting KG and the Celtics.
Hate the Lakers.
If Oklahoma wins it will just depress me and finalize how terrible "the trade" was. It means Ainge leaves town, the Celtics get blown up and we're left rooting for a disgruntled Rondo and an overwhelmed Jeff Green. It would be like a homeless man's Walker/Pierce era.
Hated the Cavs. Have no beef with the Heat. Don't fully understand why everyone hates the Heat. Their pre-season celebration was obnoxious, but I'm over it. I would have made the same decision if I were LeBron... Cleveland is the pits. I have respect for greatness... so I'm backing the Heat once they sweep us.
For anyone else to win the title, it just diminishes the value of the NBA championship. I believe that for anything... parity is lame. I like dynasties. I like when the best players win the title. Take pro-wrestling for example... When the WWF title is changing back and forth between Stone Cold, The Rock and Triple H, it means something... when scrubs like Eddie Guerro and Edge luck into the belt, it becomes silly.
The Pistons winning the title was nice simply because they upset the Laker giants. But beyond that it was sorta lame.
