Because the Lakers are a real NBA basketball team. Not a shared video game set to easy level because a couple kids were such bad players they had to enter cheat codes.

The Lakers and Celtics are the Montagues and Capulets. Two houses alike in dignity in the fair NBA we set our scene, where civil blood make civil hands unclean....but the Heateth. The Heateth are most foul and corrupt.

If the Sopranos moved into Verona the Montagues and Capulets would join forces to wipe them out in a second.  The Heat are pure evil not of this world.

Wouldn't a team of Hitler clones be significantly worse than a team of Al Qaeda members?

I don't really care if Miami was to win it vs. Memphis.  Neither team is LA.

2) Mavericks (respect Mark Cuban and his anti-NBA stance)
3) Grizzlies (Got to root for Tony Allen and a GM browbeaten into trading for Vin Baker for financial reasons)
4) Atlanta (Just to hack off David Stern)
5) Thunder (Never been to Spain but I have been to Oklahoma)
6) Bulls (out of respect Tom Thibadeaux)

7) Tie between the NY Jets, The Pittsburgh Steelers, THe Y-----s, the Canadiens, The 1972 Russian Basketball team.

8) Tie between the two chosen teams by David Stern [Well one of them held HCA  >:( and the other got punked twice on their HC  ;D ]

The real concern about the Lakers winning is that it puts Kobe just one away from 7 rings.  I cant deal with that.

8-9-Lakers/Heat..If Heat won, Off Season talk about how many titles this team will win for the next decade will be sickening and if Lakers won, it would just be sickening just because it is just that..sickening
