Boy, reading over some of these sure brings back bad memories.

Basically the worst Celtics move was the sale to the Gaston family. So much horrible stuff happened under their watch.  Ugh.

ie:
Using Denver's pick in the 2001 draft.  If we would've had patience, we could've ended up with Denver's #3 pick in the 03 draft and had our choice of Melo, Wade or Bosh.  I remember getting lambasted for this idea back in the day on the ESPN Celtics message board.  Man, that 01 draft was an exciting time to be a C's fan.  I was hoping we'd end up with Diop and Troy Murphy with the lotto picks, and then nab Jamaal Tinsley with the last pick.  Those were the days.
Celtics fan for life.

That's why the Telfair/Antoine deals aren't so bad...they both led to the championship. The Antoine deal eventually got us Delonte and Rondo if I am tracing it correctly. The Telfair deal got us Ratliff, who was a huge expiring that made KG possible.

Yea, the cheerleaders annoy me so bad. If you want to look at hot girls you have the internet now a days. The in game stuff isn't bad because it keeps my gf or little brother entertained. Love the kiss cam/lookalikes.

You just knew the Joe Johnson deal was shortsighted at the time, and now you especially do. I hated that one from the getgo. It also led to that ECF comeback game that I was at, so it wasn't 100% bad.

I think mine would be the Dee Brown for Isaiah Rider deal that never happened. I always liked Riders potential. maybe he would have blossomed in Bean Town.

Have you looked at Rider's rap sheet?  Several incidents with marijuana, illegal use of somebody else's cell phone, domestic violence (which was allegedly charged as kidnapping), felony cocaine possession, unlawful possession of a firearm, evading police, grand theft, and grand theft auto.

Plus, he had problems with coaches / teammates at every stop in his career.  That's one guy I'm very, very glad was never a Celtic.

Haha yeah i am aware of Riders troubles. I agree now. However at the time he was clean. This was before most of his problems. If we factor in everything after than I'm glad he was never a Celtic but at the time I wanted it to happen badly.
