Never thought I'd be so happy to hear that Enes Kantor is going to the Celtics!
agreed.  thought he was overblown when playing elsewhere but at this point he's reached "godsend" status with our lack of bigs.

Well, i guess celtics are not planning on being a top defensive team this year. Lol

Definately need smart and brown in the starting lineup if we are playing kanter and tatum as the frontcourt.

Happy with Kanter!

Defense gonna be a problem but it feels like we have a good rebounder for the first time in like 10 years??? Really haven't had a 10REB+ since... maybe KG? Sullinger was actually close...
Kanter will average 10+ if playing 25 minutes or more and he probably will.

Good get!

Well, he certainly seems to kill the Celtics on the offensive boards.  So happy to be rid of that for now.

What is Kanter not so good at defensively.  Also, I think defense more about team than individuals.  Switchability, length, athleticism, cohesion more important than great individual defenders IMO.

Kanter is not switchable.  If they get a guard or wing on him he will he beat off the dribble fairly quickly.  If despite being open, the player misses a shot, Kanter will get the rebound.

  • "He fiddles...and diddles..."
please get a real player and not a stiff at the center position.
Only stiffs are left, and Danny wants a stiff b/c he is unwilling to give big bucks to a big man who is not an all-star (like Horford).
