Why are his issues being kept at a whisper? I'm surprised the media wouldn't want to leak what they know. Isn't that what they do?

   They aren't , just do a search.

So Upshaw could have a deceiving wingspan. I have looked at a few other prospects and their form on the wingspan test looks much different. Lets look and compare:Upshaw has his head facing forward and shoulders down.

Now lets look at the guys who did it right.

Yup.....he lost several inches ...being all,hunched out and arms at 75 -80 degrees instead of 90 .

What bothers me ,   is WHY . ???........this seems like a Fab Melo screwup .......low IQ ? ........it just seems natural or common sense to do what the others did.   Did he not see the point , did he not see the others ,  did he not care .....ugh

<bubble busting>

on the other hand, alot of his wingspan is chest, not really long arms.

Don't see the big deal about a player doing measurements wrong. They should have experts there to guide and instruct the players on how to position themselves, etc. If that's not occurring, then this a complete waste of an exercise.

The onus here is not on the player.

Yeah, it seems really unfair to speculate about a player's IQ based on possibly not completing his wingspan test correctly.
