Kelly and Green gonna have the load to score on their shoulders .

Still be really lucky to break 25 wins with this team .

Fab looks awful..... :'(.     just depressed with his development ....what has he been doing ...Jesse Pete for crying out loud

he must be eating ice cream every night and pizza before bedtime.

don't the  C's have a weight room?

Fab needs to live in it       fat tub of goo
1.  Fab is in great shape.
2.  Fab is not in game condition, that will take a month or two to get back.
3.  The Celtics probably asked him not to play any games in the off season because it is easy to develop bad habits for a player learning the basics to play unsupervised.
4.  Fab has improved by leaps and bounds.  He will spend more time in the D league, but he has a real chance to be in the Celtics rotation by All-Star break.
5.  I have no idea what Fab's ceiling is.  His play screams out defensive role player, but it is also littered with some pretty hook shots, great passes and a soft shooting touch.
6.  Let's be patient with Fab.  Everyone knew he was a multi-year project when he was drafted.  Nothing has changed so far.  He's right on track.

Great post. Sums it up in its entirety about Fab.

I'm willing to wait it out with him.

He's terrible. He doesn't have it mentally or emotionally. With all consideration for his potential - it's never gonna happen.

Could be true. Way to early to state it though. He could prove you wrong come 26 years old.

I hope so. In real life, I'd encourage the heck out of the guy. Just don't see it happening.

My main worry about Fab isn't his basketball IQ but his lack of any explosion at all.  He also doesn't play with any intensity.  I'm not sure those two things are particularly teachable.

Like if I were 7ft and went to dunk a ball and some Russian guy blocked it, I wouldn't be smiling after, I'd be p---ed off.  That just doesn't seem to be Fab and I can't see his personality changing.  He is like Dwight Howard without the athletic ability.

Geez, what is he supposed to do? Walk around with a ridiculous Perk scowl all the time?

Fab's probably not KG in the intensity dept but you don;t make the NBA if you're not driven to play and get better,,

There are a lot of steps in between a Dwight Howard and a Kevin Garnett on the intensity scale.  I'm not saying Fab has to be on the Garnett level, but if he could get to the normal middle area that would be great.
