Why did TE Hernandez fall all the way to the 4th round?

Don't say that nothing good ever came of smoking. The pats got a 2nd round talent in the 4th round. His misfortune will be our gain.
The Pats seem to be all set on offense to do anything. They can go big with two tight blocking tight ends in Crumpler and Gronk give Fred Taylor the rock and pound the ball. In those sets they could even put Hernandez at fb and then have good blocking but also 3 good pass catching te's in the game so the Pats can run play action.
They can spread it out with Hernandez creating mismatches in the Dallas Clark role. I expect Moss, Edelman, and Holt to start the season with Tate/Price battling for the 4th spot. Once Welker comes back we should have 5 or 6 quality receivers.
I expect this offense to be a machine next year. The defense won't be elite next year but it should be improved. You take a 10-6 team, you make improvements on both sides of the ball and good things will happen. I predict 11-5 only because we have one of the most difficult schedules in recent memory.
