Isaiah Collier last 22 games = 29.7mpg 10.2ppg 8.2apg 4rpg 44.7% FG% only 3.1 turnovers per game.

He has been getting better as the season has gone on after a slow start.

He is still struggling with his jump-shot. About half of his shots coming inside the paint and shooting only 29% FG% (34.7% eFG%) on jump-shots.

Collier has been the GOAT for me in betting lol, he's money at getting assists. He's an awesome facilitator and turning into a nice weapon for the Jazz.

The Jazz have some legit pieces to work with (Sexton, Markannen, George, Collier, Kessler, etc.) now if they can land Flagg in the draft and potentially make a trade to get another star they'll be back. I don't think they are that far, they don't need to prolong this rebuild 3+ more years

Shams is reporting PG13 is receiving injections just to play, and that this is the kind of stuff you see players do in the playoffs to gut it out and play, not regular season.

Just sit him and shut down Embiid as well. Tank and move on to 2026.

C Braun shot chart

541 shot attempts

Close shots = 363 shots within 10 feet of the basket
Midrange = 37 shots within 10 to 23 feet
Outside shots = 141 three pointers

67% of his shots come within 10 feet.
26% of his shots come from three.
Less than 1% of his shots from midrange.

328 of his shots have either been a dunk or a layup. That is 60-61% of his offense.

Only 1/3rd of his shots come outside of the paint.

He is shooting well from three with 37% 3PT% but the volume is low at 2.6 attempts in 33.1 minutes per game. So he takes a three every 12-13 minutes. Low volume.

The play-in spots in the East are a mess. It is like a race to the bottom rather than teams fighting hard to earn their spot.

* Atlanta (9th) = no Jalen Johnson. Out for remainder of the season. Traded DeAndre Hunter away. Weakened state.

* Chicago (10th) = loads of guards, struggling with rotation, 3 wins in last 10 games. Lost 4 in a row.

* Philly (11th) = struggling. Lost 5 in a row. Only 3 wins in last 10.

Brooklyn (12th) are actually tied with Philly. Both are only 1.5 games back of 10th spot. Final play-in spot.

Even Miami in 8th. They have lost 3 in a row. I don't like that trade for them. They look vulnerable for a major fall off. Offense is a mess. They are 6 games ahead in the standings of Philly though. So with all the others struggling so much you gotta think they manage to hold on.

Exactly.  Philly needs to get Embiid his surgery now and give him a long recovery time.  If they wait until the offseason, he won't be ready at the start of next season.  As for PG13, if it takes injections to get him to be able to play that's justification for sitting him.  They need to cut back on Maxey's minutes and give him some nights off.  They need to maximize their chance of keeping their pick.

Houston do not look right without VanVleet. They need his outside shooting threat and floor leadership.

Rockets record with VanVleet = 30 wins 15 losses
Rockets record without VanVleet = 4 wins 5 losses

Golden State working Houston over here in the 1st half. No spacing on offense for Houston. Probably missing Jabari Smith Jr as well. He provides a lot more shooting than Amen Thompson does.

This is why keeping that Top-2 seed is huge. Not only for the potential of having HCA against the Knicks in the 2nd round, but also the 1 vs 8 and 2 vs 7 matchups this year could be pretty easy with the way things are shaping up. Pretty good chance Boston and Cleveland could be facing any of DET/MIA/ATL/CHI first round. A gift.

(Actually I just checked, didn't realize Orlando was the 7 seed and 2.5 games behind DET, but truth be told Orlando has been inconsistent this season too. Idk they don't scare me but it's also possible they can go on a run and leapfrog DET)

Rockets lose again, this time to the Warriors. Only won 3 of their last 10 games and had a 6 game losing streak.  :-X

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

A sign that this was truly the "day before the All-Star Break".

Numerous stars sat around the league and also, every game has been an upset. Clippers might escape vs. the Jazz but even that game went OT

My gut feeling says he will wind up in Oregon, which I think would be great. That's a long-suffering franchise that deserves some love.

I don't see any reason why Luka would leave the Lakers. Luka + the city of LA + Lakers mystique will make the Lakers the #1 free agent / trade destination in the league. Luka can easily get running mates to come in and join him in LA after LeBron leaves.

The reason would be he doesn?t like the city or culture of LA, which many people have speculated as possible he has a similar personality to Jokic in a lot of ways. It?s also
Not he like can get a super max there either. Maybe you love LA but a lot of people don?t like it at all.

I haven't seen that speculation about Luka not liking LA.

I have seen lots of speculation that Luka might like LA too much. The party scene. The good times. And that his conditioning / professionalism may worsen in LA.

Luka has already said how happy he is to be living near the sea.
