Jabari Parker to replace Tatum

 ???

Have you even watched him the past 2 years?

Talented as heck, but injuries and listless defensive effort have pretty much made him useless. If he comes for the minimum, I am all for it.

I haven’t. He could of completely declined but we just need a scorer off the bench Incase Morris leaves.

He’s an overpaid scorer at this point. He can get you buckets but that’s pretty much it. Actually, check that, you’ll get scored on a bunch of times too. He’s just bad on D at this point.

I didn't watch him a lot this year, but in the games I did his defense was some of the worst I can ever recall seeing.  No hyperbole.
Yeah, he's like Harden of two seasons ago (when he was at his worst) without the 28PPG and 8 assists

No one's thinking about DeWayne Dedmon with the MLE? He's a good rim protector, can defend on the perimeter, and is somehow a good three point shooter at 38.2% on over 3 attempts per game. Can also make his FTs.

I also think Dedmon would be a good fit here.

I'd try my hardest for Michael Kidd Gilchrist and/or DeAndre Jordan.

You have to go through Giannis to get to the finals  now. I'd try after a great sf defender and a rim protector.

Chief, I've always agreed with you many times, and this time for sure.

I like MKG, he has a PTO for 13 million, which would be hard to deny. But if we bring in Kyrie, and AD, two of his good friends, I can see him agreeing to take on a team friendly deal.

Unless Charlotte does a dramatic turn-around next season, Kidd-Gilchrist might be a player who's available during the buyout period

I like Dedmon, but hes going to get a decent raise. Neighbor of $8 at least. He fits the modern need in the prototypical NBA scheme.

As for Carter, I would love him. He would be an absolute necessary mentor and the vet that Kyrie was talking about. Doesn't he want minutes though? I would love for him to get a ring.

Back at you Chief.

And I hope so philr3.

MKG has been grossly misused. He needs a change of scenery.

Nets love Ed Davis. I think the feelings mutual, plus he was a big apart of their playoff comeback. I don't see him leaving.

I just finished watching highlights of him and in definitely don’t see why y’all want him. Seems like trash to me.

Because highlights are the best way to evaluate players.

I believe CBS brings out the best in players. I'd love MKG to get an opportunity with a coach that can bring out his max talent.

I want Reggie Bullock.

6'7", good shooter, average defense but maybe could be good under a different system.

I like Reggie Bullock. Fine 8th / 9th man type.

In addition to Beverley (who I think will probably cost too much), the following will be UFA:

Thabo
J. Dudley
G. Temple
C. Brewer
W. Chandler
Wes Matthews
Danny Green
Jeff Green

I've always liked Wes Matthews and Danny Green, but I doubt either is available for anything close to the minimum.

Would Thabo, Dudley, Temple, or Brewer be anything more than veteran bench depth?

I like J Green. Not Uncle 'Snooze,' JaMychal Green.

I think he would be an awesome addition to our bench. I love Wes Matthews, but he's gonna at least get 4-8 million along with Green. Plus if DG stays, it only means Kawhi is staying also.

JaMychal Green would be awesome. Good replacement for Marcus Morris in the starting lineup. Lets Boston maintain team speed. Improves rebounding and defensive quality. Lower usage offensive threat to give others more room to show their talents.

Checks a lot of boxes.

How about Joakim Noah? Played well with Memphis this year and will provide our team with good passing, defense and most important rebounding (!).
Jack of all trades, master of none.

What an exciting list this is. Makes me giddy think about free agency. Makes me want to stick needles in my eyes. Actually Danny Green I would like but I just punched myself in the face when I thought about Jeff Green. Really?
