You offer the Grizzlies pick, next year, Tatum, and pieces...I think it's tempting.

Yep the Grizz pick not conveying is huge.
If they bottom out again next year, we'll have another Sacramento kings situation when the pick finally conveys... a lot can happen in two years.
Especially when Conley wants out (I believe)

Man NOLA have all the trade leverage now for AD. Ainge will have to dump the war chest on the table for him if Kyrie stays.
i dont see why everyone is continually whining about this. williamson will not turn NO into a contender out of the gate, if ever. AD would have to wait for him to mature and grow. is AD suddenly turning into a patient person?

i dont see where this changes anything for AD. if it does, i think it opens NO up to a trade that brings young stars and pick so as to build around williamson. that plays to the celtics strength.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I'm reasonably satisfied with the result. The worst scenario was Zion going to the Lakers or the Knicks. That's been avoided. AD could stay, he could go. You'd think that if his reasons are to win now and to be in a bigger market that Zion won't change his mind. Even if NY get Morant or Barrett it's still not as good as what we can offer.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

nba is the worst pro sport bar none.    they need to just let these guys go where ever they want and to the highest bidder.  this scam of a league is ridiculous.   slavery.
Worst thought of the night.

Lol Zion is so overrated. He'll be a good pro, but outside of his athleticism he doesn't have the skills needed to thrive in the big-boy league. Much less skilled than someone like Lebron.

i see him as a super version of Al Jefferson

Could not have gone worst for the Celtics.

Hopefully, Davis burnt enough bridges in New Orleans that he still gets traded.

Davis not being allowed to play properly in the waning months seems like a burnt bridge to me... They'd still explore about trading Davis to the highest bidder.
.
I think what this does though is that they can atleast get all the offers from other teams, the aim is obviously to get young and fit players around the age of 22 and under with star potential to fit the timeline of Zion and Randle... Surely Tatum and Brown will be in the conversation...add the Memphis pick next Yr and its a done deal to me.. No way NOP play out the Yr with the uncertainty of whether Davis re-sign es or not.

On a disaster scale of 1 (fluffy bunny) to 10 (Vesuvius), that was about a ball through Buckner's legs (8.5).

Wow that's a curveball. I think AD could go either way now.
NO way AD doesn’t want to waste his prime with a rookie who’s gonna get all the spotlight. I expect a thanks but no thanks, he’s in great play for the Celts now. Tatum and Brown for AD. I don’t care if we have to overpay you do it see Kawhi and Toronto.

I don't know... I just see our odds of getting ad decreasing by the day. Let's see if ainge can pull off his wizardry.

Well the conspiracy theorists can crawl in their holes and come out again for next year's lottery.

The Pels are looking good.  Good chance AD stays now.  He can sign the supermax, play a couple more seasons and then request a trade if it still doesn't work out.

I think it's in NOLA's best interest to trade AD and build around that and Zion. C's will be in the mix but so will the Lakers. LA getting that top 4 pick is big for them. Will be interesting to see whether they are willing to trade their entire roster again.

Kyrie is going to be the lynch pin in all of this...He commits to stay Boston can and will have to go all in for AD

Kyrie doesn't stay...no need to burn your future for a rental.

Is there a way to make the NBA draft lottery less transparent?
