i dont see why everyone is continually whining about this. williamson will not turn NO into a contender out of the gate, if ever. AD would have to wait for him to mature and grow. is AD suddenly turning into a patient person?

i dont see where this changes anything for AD. if it does, i think it opens NO up to a trade that brings young stars and pick so as to build around williamson. that plays to the celtics strength.

I'm reasonably satisfied with the result. The worst scenario was Zion going to the Lakers or the Knicks. That's been avoided. AD could stay, he could go. You'd think that if his reasons are to win now and to be in a bigger market that Zion won't change his mind. Even if NY get Morant or Barrett it's still not as good as what we can offer.

Lol Zion is so overrated. He'll be a good pro, but outside of his athleticism he doesn't have the skills needed to thrive in the big-boy league. Much less skilled than someone like Lebron.

I think what this does though is that they can atleast get all the offers from other teams, the aim is obviously to get young and fit players around the age of 22 and under with star potential to fit the timeline of Zion and Randle... Surely Tatum and Brown will be in the conversation...add the Memphis pick next Yr and its a done deal to me.. No way NOP play out the Yr with the uncertainty of whether Davis re-sign es or not.

I think it's in NOLA's best interest to trade AD and build around that and Zion. C's will be in the mix but so will the Lakers. LA getting that top 4 pick is big for them. Will be interesting to see whether they are willing to trade their entire roster again.
