  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Zion Williamson and Jayson Tatum.

That's a nice young core to build around.

  • GOT IT!!!
The plan for AD is dead.

No way they trade AD.  Gotta try him with Zion for at least a year.

Time for Celts to go young.

AD isn't going to win anything with a rookie lol Unless he wants the supermax he's gone. Tatum/Zion duo would be pretty nice.

Holiday, Zion, and Davis is gonna be fun.

You offer the Grizzlies pick, next year, Tatum, and pieces...I think it's tempting.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

So many questions now.

I don't see AD budging from his stance.  Zion could be a hell of a player, but he won't push them into contention this year.  If I am NO, I am going young and finding young pieces to go with Zion.  Thoughts?

Does the 4 pick change NO's mind about dealing with LA?  If not, what happens with Lebron?

Ja Morant at 2?  If so, where does Conley end up?  If Kyrie leaves, is there a deal to be made?

How good will Memphis be next year?

Davis said he wants to win

How on earth is a slightly better julius randle (rookie Zion) going to accomplish winning? He wants out

AD should stay . Gulp...
And if he doesn't then the Pels are screwed because they did not trade AD when they had the chance..

Thing is, yes they can bite the bullet and risk that 1 Yr where Davis stays and plays with a very young talent, but even that will not make the POs.. And if they do not make the playoffs, why on earth would AD wanna stay...

I agree.  They should go young and let a young core built around Zion grow together.  I don't see a fit with AD and Zion.

On the bright side, I texted KG Living Legend last night saying "Lol, how mad are Celtic fans going to be when Memphis wins the Zion draft, the Grizz make the playoffs, and we end up regretting we scoffed at the #9 pick"
