  • Let's Go Celtics!
I never imagined that it could feel so good to see a Celtic team get eliminated.

Elimination is a good word, as in excreting bodily waste.

I can't give up. I want them to win.

The funny thing is that somehow this game is right there for the taking still.

If The Celtics could make an open shot...

Just need to get it to 6 or 7 point deficit by the start of the 4th.

With all these bricks he's building, Irving might end up staying in MIL long term  :P

Assuming the third quarter does not play out like it has, which is asking a lot.

There you go, Kyrie. Pass it to your teammates to get them involved. You don't ahve to do this all by yourself.

nice move.  backdoor cuts have been there.  about time we start using them.  would keep the Bucks' D honest on coverage

looks like Morris is trying to get Kyrie's head back in the game.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Whatever your politics, I think we can all agree this is the last half of basketball we will ever see Kyrie, Tatum and Brown all playing for the Celtics.

They still could if Kyrie happens to re-sign and they don't trade for AD, unless you're implying they are trading for AD regardless?
i think there’s a basically zero chance all 3 are on the team next year.   You’re more likely to see all of them gone than all of them here.
leave it to you to start an argument during a game thread about roster changes this offseason.  ::)

as for all 3 being here-- nice backpedal.  that's not what you said but it is what everyone has pretty much assumed -- Tatum or Brown going out in an AD deal if Kyrie stays.  what a nothing statement.

as for none being here, not happening.  that's just a statement meant to provoke people pure and simple because there's no sense behind it

I don't know. If Kyrie walks, we can still trade for AD. And if we do that, then Ainge will need to scramble to bring in another star. I imagine Brown would be the main piece in whatever deal that would be.

I tend to agree. I think there is a better chance all of them are gone than all of them being on the team next season.
