If we had the unfortunate luck of facing The best team in the 2nd round?

No. It's not like we were great all year then ran into a juggernaut but lost despite playing great. We were mediocre and frustrating all year then lost playing bad, frustrating and confusing.

Maybe...but it still feels like this team was less than the sum of its parts regardless of the outcome of this series.

No = the Bucks are who they are whether they win a title or not. They are one of the finest teams in the league.

As are the Celtics - or at least they should be but are not because they continue to punch below their weight.

Pretty much this. Never clicked all year. While we were hopeful we’d figure it out when it mattered, I think we all realized deep down that it wasn’t going to happen, which has been painfully obvious over the past few games.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I like how I am the only 'yes' vote so far...Yikes!  :o

I would say if the Bucks beat TOR/PHI and then beat GSW/HOU, then I think it is time to re-think who the Bucks really are. Even knowing they had the best record in the league, I think most of us wanted to see them over the Raptors in the 2nd round as we thought of them as more beatable. We took them out last year without Irving/Hayward, so how good are they really? I guess the answer (if they won the championship) would be REALLY REALLY good.

I hate not winning championships but I am always somewhat comforted when the team I love gets kicked out of the playoffs to the team that became champions.

The Bucks won't be champions. At least not this year.

Bucks never beat Kawhi Raptors in a series this year and no way can they beat GS with KD on GS.

Bucks should dominate east as Giannis just gets better and better especially with abusted up raptors team mi us Kawhi. ...I don't see Kawhi staying unless, they beat GS ....and , but this possible and they could, beat Houston definitely and win the title.

Celtics mean while are stinking up Boston.

Maybe the Celtics should've played better in the regular season so they could've had the 3-seed to face the Raptors, who look like a more formidable opponent for them.

Then again, I don't know if the Celtics would've gotten past Brooklyn in Round 1 either.

Bucks split season series with Raps and I think manhandled the Warriors at GS. You underrate Bux

I think by now the regular season is effectively meaningless, considering the changes both the Bucks and Raps made (Mirotic & Gasol respectively). Plus, GS at home aren't the unstoppable force they previously have been.

I mean, the Lakers with LeBron only playing half the game absolutely man-handled a fully healthy Warriors

No. The way they played last night I think they'd have lost to at least 3/4 of the teams in the league - maybe more than that. This team is broken.

This Bucks team is not really as strong as people think, it's just our Jekyll and Hyde routine is perfect for them this series.

I'll be shocked if they're the Champs this year.
