According to Jeff Goodman, anonymous Bucks player said Kyrie wasn’t just yelling at refs, but also his coaches and teammates during game 3.

Well if he is mad at anyone then he needs to include himself as well...  I know he scored 29, which helped, but overall that game 3 performance wasn't that great for everything else but scoring.  His def effort seemed to ebb and flow a lot.  He got frustrated that he couldn't get to the rim, and just engaged hero ball mode at times.

The 3rd quarter fouls were devastating and eventually led to the scoring outburst at the end of the period by Hill and the Bucks. The Cs were completely taken out of any rhythm. We managed to get a number of free-throws in the 4th, but it was seemingly too late as we were in catch-up mode the entire time.

We can only hope for better in the next game, but I am going to stop feeling confident at halftime and just until the final buzzer sounds. The fouls are bad, but these 3rd quarters are showing that the Cs just aren't as good as the Bucks.

Why on earth should you be confident..just as Pierce was super confident and look at where its got us.
This series is far from over but we should never be confident because the Bucks are the first and top seed for a reason. Just cheer for the team when they do well and hope we take it one game at a time.

It's amazing that none of this was caught on camera during a nationally televised game. That's some selective camera work if I've ever seen it.

I mean... he legitimately did in the postgame. "I've got to be better." "I've got to punish those guys." "From this point on I don’t think you’ll see another 8-for-22 or any missed layups." But sure, let's focus on imaginary blow ups that seemingly no one saw during the game except for one seriously perceptive Bucks player (if said player even exists).

So sick of every year teams complain about the refs and not a [dang] thing Ian done about it.  In no other sport do the refs have such an instrumental role in the outcomes of games and yet are on so many occasions are so blatantly biased.  Fans should file a complaint and not attend the games until the situation is fixed.  People just want to see a fair basketball game.  We understand mistakes but the inconsistency bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. needs to stop for the integrity of the game at least.

Giannis replied to KI's comments by saying that when you cannot stop someone you complain about the fts he takes

The Bucks sang a different tune after game 1 where he was stopped. They said they were not getting the calls they're used to

I hope he will back up his talk. This is what he wanted. He stepped out from LeBron’s shadow to be alpha. Not in November and December, but May and June.

Last season obviously didn’t happen for him, so this is his first opportunity to face teams planning for him first and foremost. There is no James on this team that he can be selective with his effort. He needs to bring it every minute he’s on the court. I hope Smart returns tonight so we can get our defensive tenacity back like he provided last playoffs against Milwaukee. The offense though, that’s on Kyrie.

I'm glad Kyrie said something, somebody had to, but it should have been Stevens.

Stevens needed to man up during game 3 when the writing was on the wall with the refs agenda. Get a T, sacrifice the point and backup your team. It was sickening he was just standing there being his calm self.

We saw the bucks coach lose it and benefit, yet ours just stands there.

Back to wanting Joe fired.

Yep Budenholzer basically called Jaylens fifth foul and the ref bit.. thats one of the jobs of a coach, to try and sway the direction of the game.

Just looked up the free throws for the first 3 games.

Kyrie is 11-12, while the Celtics as a whole are 59-67.
Giannis is 34-50, while the Bucks as a whole are 64-91.

So that is 38 more attempts for Giannis over Kyrie.

Speaking of the ridiculously referred game 3, I was very curious of where that stood in particular. The Celtics were 30-32, while the Bucks were 24-36. This is a clear case of where stats don’t tell the whole story. With 7:20 remaining in the game, the score was 106-91 when Gordon Hayward went to the free throw line. The Celtics would take 16 free throws the rest of the game, which was half of their total for the game.

Yep. Officials clearly trying to make the numbers look even once the outcome had been determined

To me, the worst part was listening to Hubie Brown who will never disagree with a foul called.  Can't stand the guy, even if the Celtics are winning.  "Now, right there, you can't do that.  You can't be in front of him like that."  "Yeah, you see that, you see he's outside the circle (as Giannis' foot is partially in the circle) so that's a charge."  I ended up muting the game, which I do far too often for Hubie.

Second worst part of the officiating was that they'd blow the whistle way too long after the event.  As soon as Giannis (or anyone on the Bucs) missed in the 3rd quarter and the celtics got the rebound, *Beep* bring it back!
