Great article that tells of the teams riffs and struggles and how they have seemingly fixed it for the playoffs.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
So Kyrie's mood swings led to players treading 'lightly?'

Hmmm...

Great article thanks for sharing.

Can't help but wonder how Bird would've handled this year.

"handled" ??  Bird would not have "handled" anything - he would have spoken his mind and played his ass off and we wouldn't be worrying about what his daily mood was and how it might effect his teammates.  Good Gawd, I've had all I want of Irving and his moods and his proclamations and never-ending dribbling.

meh if social media existed when Bird was playing we would all think of him as a lot different. The difference is the media/social media coverage a lot more than the people... i hope most people realize this.

Young players trying to make the leap in the NBA.  Yeah, not surprising there was some angst along the way.  These are really young men, even Kyrie.

Tonight will tell us a lot.  Let's see how Boston adjusts to the switching.  We need Kyrie just like Milwaukee needs KA.  Let's see if they both play well tonight.

I doubt Larry Bird would care a whit about what was on social media when he was playing. He took criticism during his career over his daughter from his very early marriage and did not sit down one time to explain his position, Bird's only comment was, "I know the truth and that's all that matters to me."

Red said you don't have to like your teammates, just pretend you do.

Maybe Kyrie should go out and get into a bar fight. Would that behavior be more suitable?

Khris Antetokounmpo apparently -- the best Bucks players have been merged into a single being

Bird broke his hand in a bar fight during the playoffs. He wasn't some paragon of good emotional control.
