Hope Brad Stevens gives the team an absolute shellacking for falling apart in the second half AGAIN.

Big picture:

Danny Ainge signed Hayward and traded for Kyrie.  We knew we had a couple years to see how good Kyrie, Hayward, and Horford could be.

Due to nobody's fault, Hayward got hurt.  That knocked him out as a major piece for basically a year and a half, and even now he's not 100%.

At the end of this two year stretch it's looking like this group just isn't good enough.

Not the end of the world.  Back to the drawing board.  Question now is -- can they make a big move to create a more dangerous core, or do they take a step back and be young for a while, wait for the next opportunity to add a guy who could be MVP caliber?
I think we have to go all in. GSW will be more vulnerable than ever, as KD is likely gone and Klay could leave too. Middleton is a free agent, as is Lopez & Mirotic. Kawhi is seemingly destined to go back West. Harris and Butler are both free agents. CP3 will be a year older and a year worse.

If we are able to keep Kyrie, trade for Davis. Kyrie, AD, Horford, Hayward and hopefully Brown/Smart is enough to win a title next season.
Question is retaining Kyrie. That doesn’t sound like it’s likely at this point.

Brad Stevens? Giving the team an absolute shellacking? How cute. Brad Stevens himself also needs to be given a thrashing. He's also partly responsible for losing Game 2 as well.

Lucky we held on to our time outs, we really needed one there.

We have some work to do.  We need to unlock Kyrie's efficiency from the field, and we need to find some offensive production from the bench.  Also, Hill and Connaughton can't be allowed to damage us like they did tonight.  Giannis is going to do his thing.  We're playing him as tough as we can, but he's unstoppable.

Good game, on to the next one.

It’s over.  Bring on the culling.

Cue a month and a half of Anthony Davis speculation.

Can you imagine this board if the draft passes and the Celts don't trade for him?  What about how things will look on July 5th if Kyrie has signed with the Knicks and the Celts haven't traded for anybody?

Going to be a fascinating, possibly horrible couple of months in Celtics fandom.
Tatum and Brown better turn into KD and Jimmy Butler if that happens!

Just saw a crazy stat. If you discount garbage time, the Bucks have shot 77% of the TOTAL free throws of the series.
About what we should have expected given they shoot a lot and we shoot a little.

You really are ridiculous. I understand trying to be objective, but you really have wool over your eyes if you think they haven't got a favorable call all series, especially Giannis. Kyrie has been taking it inside plenty, yet he has nowhere near the calls of Giannis.

100% agree.
Man, people need to man up around here.  They’ve been better.  Period.

Too little too late.
Who said they'd make a late run and lose by 5 earlier?  ;D

That would be me.

LOL I dont think Brad Stevens can chastise his dog if the puppy crapped on his meal.

The Milwaukee REFS.

Wow, Never seen a team allowed to use their off Hand, while dribbling ALL game long and not get called for it.

Refs kept them in this game. Knew it was RIGGED right from the start when Hayward didn't get to the line when he got tackled by Bledsoe on that early drive to the hoop.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.
