You probably know him because of his major anti-Celtics bias. He was the first ref to give Stevens a T and actually threw him out that same game in Sacramento. There's also the incident with Rondo in Atlanta where he tossed him late in a tight game for bumping him.
But more well-known is during the 2009 playoffs Marc Davis (a Chicago native) was a ref for one of the Celtics/Bulls games in the very competitive first round series, and afterward he was seen leaving the arena with his family, who were all decked out in Bulls gear. From a Boston Globe article on April 27, 2009: "An NBA source pointed out before the game that two of the referees were Chicago natives (Marc Davis and Dan Crawford). Kennedy also was involved in an incident with Rivers during the Bulls' St. Patrick's Day win in which both were fined by the league for jawing. The source also said that after the game family members of both referees departed wearing Bulls gear."
