I won't believe anyone unless it's Woj or Shams, or Danny himself. I won't even believe Kyrie.

Dayum, times are tough when some won't even believe the man himself but believe in others regarding himself!  :(

Well he did say something to us back in October... :P

Kyrie Irving has given 'every indication' to Nets he wants to sign there - Stephen A?

There is a 95% chance Kyrie and Durant are going to the knicks are what my sources are telling me -Stephen A

Well Stephen A Smith predicted Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn, and LeBron to Miami. So there are some merits to his predictions lol.

Those were pretty easy moves to see coming.

I still believe Kyrie will keep his word and re-sign with Celtics, but if he leaves let it be the Nets, just not the Lakers.

I would swap Kyrie and Rozier for Dinwiddie and D'Angelo.

If people hate on Irving and his game....they would have their heads explode with Russell

Well, Kyrie has some wiggle room.  Because his "word" was only that he'd stay with the Celtics, "if you'll have me".

In other words, he can simply blame the fans for not wanting him to stay.

Hopefully, he doesn't read CelticsStrong then.

Well he was my favorite nba player before he was traded to Boston and still is. I am sure most of Boston fans will be happy if he re-sign with Boston.

I wonder what Kyries thought process is at this time.
On one hand he might think that he was busting his but while being double teamed in the playoffs while the rest of the players didn’t step up and somehow he gets all the blame from internet wanna be GMs. In this case he’s gone

On the other hand - he might not care at all what a fraction of the fan base think and may want to prove them wrong including the talk heads on TV. He may also want the max $$ ... in this case he stays 🤷🏻‍♂️
No one can possibly know what’s in his head including Steven a smith and Jackie McMullen

Luckily, Irving is incredibly popular and that includes the New England market. There are a number of detractors out there on message boards like this one, but I am sure the overwhelming sentiment from non-hardcore fans is positive.

Hopefully, he doesn't read CelticsStrong then.

I've been thinking the same thing. Hopefully Kyrie is feeling the love outside of places like these.

I can break this down in a pretty simple way.  Kyrie is no dummy so will go to the best situation.  The best to me is to team us with Davis in Boston.  He gets the most money and to me, the best chance to win.

If the Celtics cannot get Davis though, his best chance is to go to where ever Durant goes.  I don't know where that will be, maybe Kyrie has already talked to Durant and knows, but teaming up with Durant is a very good situation.  He gets less money and has to move to a new team/city but otherwise, still are really good deal for him.

Now if the Celtics can't get Davis and Durant decides to stay with GSW (a very unlikely combination of scenarios in my opinion), then I have no idea where he will go.  Maybe team with Kawhi with the Clippers?  Maybe still stay in Boston?

Wow.  That's about as non-committal as Danny could have said anything without blatantly coming out and saying:  We are not doing anything roster-wise to induce Kyrie to stay.

So that means no Davis trade?

Nope. Ainge can not legally discuss any players he might trade or sign so, of course, he will be non-committal regarding additions to the team.

Sure sounds to me like Danny expects Kyrie to be gone and is laying the groundwork for bringing Terry back.
