Brad has done a great job bringing up the underdog. But that age is over, we need superstars to win championships, superstars have super big personalities, I’m not sure Brad has the experience to handle that.

I’d be inclined to give him a chance, considering this is the first season where we haven’t exceeded expectations

That being said, if we continued to underachieve going into the ASB with AD then it would be goodbye Brad

Who are the options on the shortlist to replace Brad? Are we hoping to convince Pop to delay retirement for another 5 years?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I think Brad's earned at least one more year given his body of work. But I'm not sure if he's best suited to succeed with a team highlighted by marquee stars.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I actually like the guy as a person, and he does have positives as a coach...

But gosh man...he's so stubborn it's nearly unbelievable. Why don't he just TRY to go man to man and some versions of the zone.

Just TRY man to man for 2 weeks in GAMES just to see who excels at it, and who's gonna need help with the switch. He would understand his team alot better because everyone would be accountable for themselves on that end.

When they can't stop anyone it tranfers over to the offense where they get desperate and force everything.

It is that switching defense.  That is the problem with this team

Brad Stevens is a great coach when he is coaching a college like team that buys into the college mantra. Last year they did this without a true star.

His college, team first approach has not worked this year. He has struggled handling Kyrie, egos, star power, chemistry, all of it. The fact we are almost to the playoffs and they still continue to blow double digit leads regularly says it all.

Let's assume due to popular demand we will be giving Brad his pink slip this summer. So far our candidates to replace him are:

Frank Vogel
Stan Van Gundy
Mike Brown

Any others out there before we vote on these three? Maybe we can get Jeff Van Gundy to leave his cushy commentary position to take up the poisoned chalice?
