Brown ran point a fair amount and tatum was the recipient of ball movement.
And brown looked much much improved at running plays.
Brown has looked pretty good, but in the highlights so far, it has stood out to me when things slow down and he tries to iso somebody, rather than making a quicker decision and either pulling up or going to the hoop.
Jaylen is not and has never been very good at creating separation for himself when he slows down and tries to post up, iso etc. His handle just isn't that good and he isn't shifty enough laterally. He occasionally has success rising up for jumpers out of post ups against smaller defenders. But generally he just looks awkward, has to try to muscle it in rather than getting a good opening.
I'm not down on how Jaylen has been playing, I just still see aspects to how he's trying to play (e.g. like Jimmy Butler or something) that I don't think play to his strengths.
As for Tatum, as I said he's showing that he's improved as a playmaker and seems to be focusing on using this Team USA experience to work on that part of his game. That's very encouraging.
