I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Derrick White that is the next (final?) cut.  He struggled a lot last night.  Although White did make a couple plays in the 4th quarter.  Lots of iffy plays.

Eeee. I don't know. We need someone who can consistently stir the drink on offense. White can do that. Mitchell cannot consistently do it yet.

Walker is the only one that can. Fox was the backup, but now he is gone.

I still think its Kuzma.

I am just going on what I saw last night at the game.  Felt like a lot of iffy plays.

Nah I bet he made it over Fox. He looked pretty good yesterday. So if Smarts out is the roster set?

Smart isn't out.  I am pretty sure that it was announced that he would be playing in Australia.  And there was this...

Another thing that struck me at the game last night, was how much stronger Tatum looks.  I think that upper body / core strength increase is really going to help him this year.  He also looked a 1/2 step quicker.  Not sure if that is really the case but it seemed that way.  Spain's team looked pretty slow though, so maybe it was more that.

Marcus Smart, I'm told, has been cleared to make a full return to the court from the calf injury that has sidelined him for the past week-plus

There were, but the reason why coaches like him and he was so successful last year was he consistently puts the other team's defense at a disadvantage.

Imo Smart makes it and Jaylen doesn’t. Harris makes it because teams could always use a knockdown sniper if even just for spacing. Pop I’m sure feels safer with veterans like Middleton and Barnes over Jaylen. Smart can legit defend 1-4 so he’s a lock as long as healthy. Kuzmas a pretty good rebounder and can play small ball 5 he stays.

they are both in.

Brown has been making his shots and playing hounding defense.

Brown is very much a Pops guy, he asked for brown in a trade for Kawhi.

Well, with Fox dropping out, only one player left who won't be on the team. Good chance all 4 Celtics make it in.

I did like Fox. Good defense in the passing lanes, quick in transition and gets to the line. Going to be disappointed if White beat him out.

I thought White played well, but I only saw the 2nd half.  He's Pops' boy so hard to imagine him being cut.

I think a lot of people are sleeping on Jaylen Brown.   I really think he is a better player right now than both Smart and Barnes.  I haven't watched enough of Harris to feel confidant in saying whose better there.  Brown i really good.  He was limited a lot last year by the rotations but I think that actually helped him learn to play with more control.  I though he was very efficient on both sides of the ball in limited minutes last year.

Yeah, I know almost no top top players decided to play and it took a bunch of other real good players to drop out of the team, but seeing those 4 guys all on Team USA will make me proud as a Celtic fan. It will be so even more after they win the tournament.

No, because I think the team already flew out to Australia. So it wouldn’t make as much sense if they’re already down under.
