I'm resigned to the fact that nothing dramatic is going to change from now until the end of the regular season. Start preparing some other guys besides Hayward. Stevens  may have to remove him from the rotation if he doesn't get right.

I would like to see Williams get major mins. Semi start to get more mins.

Start Brown, sit Horford, Tatum and Kyrie sparlingly so we don't get any major injuries.

Maybe during the West Coast road trip they will do some team bonding things.

Stevens may do better when he only has to prepare for one team over a 2 week period in a series.

The fact this team is a 5 seed is depressing.

I almost think Boston finishing 6th might be the easiest path. Play the 3 seeded Pacers in round one, then the winner of the 2-7 match up (toronto).

Think i would rather go through Indiana and Toronto than Philly and Milwaukee before the ECF.

Awesome.

This Celtics team has owned Philly over last 18 months.

True.  It certainly wouldn't be the end of the world (assuming this Celtics team doesn't totally check out & implode).

Boston has had their number.

So I heard Rozier didn't play last night.

Did they win by a hunnard?

I wanna see AD here next year just to see how the small ball, 3 shooting, switching coach utilizes a true big man.

I'm more worried about Philly than Indy, but also more worried about Toronto than Milwaukee.

Finishing six would likely mean dealing with the irony of finishing behind Brooklyn.

The Celtics biggest enemy is themselves.  If they could ever manage to get their collective heads out of their arses, they could still fulfill pre-season expectations (Finals appearance).

I just have zero confidence left at this point they can get their heads right.

The Pacers play together and try hard.  They also have a quality rotation of big men who are strong inside.

I would not feel good about that matchup.

Philly is only a half game back from Indy right now. They've played well without Oladipo but I think his loss is going to catch up to them and Indy will fall to the 4th seed (or 5th seed, if the Celtics get their act together) by the end.

I think they’ve known this for a while. Plan for Philly or Indiana and hope Milwaukee finishes No1 so we play them instead of Toronto if we get to the 2nd round. If they feel they can beat I Diana and Philly regardless They may not even want the 3rd seed and possibly have to face Toronto in the 2nd without home court.

The point of getting their heads right should've been around Christmas week.

We're now entering March. Too little, too late. We've seen so much chemistry problems with this team and only one basketball. Everyone has the ME-first attitude which will doom the team. Coaching is also a problem.

Mike

All those draft picks from Brooklyn, and the Celtics still could end up behind them.

Maybe Brooklyn did win that mega-trade, after all, ;D ;D ;D

Reminds me of the 2011 Red Sox. Stacked roster, but the team just didn't have any chemistry. I am sure we're going to hear a lot of gossip this summer about what went wrong.

How in the world are people assuming that Phil will end up 4th?  I mean, I think it's clearly down to Ind and Phil in the first round but no sense in even thinking about the 6th spot because we have a big lead AND Phil could easily climb to 3rd.

I think the Pacers are like we were last season - lost their star and have come together and are playing with something to prove and nothing to lose.
