We need Baynes.

If Aron baynes makes that large a difference, doesn't that say more about the rest of the team?

That's my thinking.

I'm a big Baynes fan, but a lot of people around here were saying, early in the season, that he really didn't add much to the team. Now a lot of people are talking like he's the silver bullet that'll solve all of the team's issues (I think he'll help, but he's definitely not "the answer").

I remember Aron Baynes was dubbed as "lobster hands" where he had trouble securing rebounds. Now he is apparently our savior. He basically fills the Kendrick Perkins role.

The other guys need to learn to share the ball and work together as a team.

I don't think the idea is he's our "savior" but there's no denying he has a positive impact on the court and can certainly be a difference maker.  He adds another big to help Al out for certain match ups, is a good screen setter, a good team defender and adds toughness.  The Celtics have a defensive rating of 97.9 when Baynes is on the floor vs 106.2 when he's off.  They also have a record of 15-2 when Baynes plays 15 minutes and 22-21 when he plays zero to 14 minutes.

He helps.

I'm a big fan of Brad, but let's be honest. So far he's not finding himself comfortable in leading ''big guys'' and these players tend to be a part of the big team. I find him like just waiting that simething happens or that Ainge makes some moves. I know that's far away from truth, but he realy seems lost in some way.

Need to trim down the rotation significantly and define some roles.

I'd just go back to the original starting lineup, jack up the shots of Kyrie, Tatum and Hayward (he needs the reps), and have everyone else just play tough defense.

I would like to see what the squad could do with Jaylen in the starting lineup instead of Tatum. More defensive quickness & intensity. I'd love to see Smart and Jaylen alongside each other more often on the wings.

Agreed. JB needs to be a focal point and Morris needs to get out of the way. Its just like playing JB behind Crowder when he was here but much worst.

Ainge may need to sign a veteran to just add someone to the locker room that's hungry for a deep playoff run. This team needs energy and someone not scared to get in someone's face.

I still would like Joakim Noah if it's not too late for a buyout.

I kind of feels like Brad it too nice and don't want to hurt x player feeling by changing the lineup or reducing minutes/role.
Does he really not see what we all see in Rozier?

this part of it for sure.   He is coach , he is incharge , he needs to act like it .

But , its too late for this year , DA saved all his assets to,trade for,Davis , same as Magic is doing.  While all the competition traded and upgraded to make a run for a title .   The difference in added personel is really showing up.   Raptors went all,in ,  there is no tommorrow , Kawhi might bolt no matter what they do.  I dthink Raptora, will beat GS in the finals though.

It wouldn't shock me to see Stevens go back to college after this season. I'm not sure he likes coaching divas.

Well here's an example of Brad getting mad. Keep in mind it was at an official though not one of his players

There are plenty of anecdotal stories from the likes of Jackie Mac and Zach Lowe that tell a different tale. Brad needles his players in private, away from the media, and knows how to motivate them individually. Granted those stories aren’t from this season. But he isn’t some pushover... he just doesn’t give that face to the media.
