I use to play in a league when I was a kid. My dad was the coach. We'd always finish top 3, but there was this one coach who always managed to win every single year regardless of who was on the team. It wasn't like his son was some superstar... they just always seemed to beat everyone. One year he wasn't able to coach so his son ended up on our team. My dad asked the coach what the secret was... why he always managed to win every year. He finally exposed the truth...Pizza parties. He'd take the kids for pizza after every win. Turns out it's a huge motivation and great for team morale.Someone get this info to Brad, immediately. These boys need some pizza parties.
Sounds like the Celtics took my advice. A couple days ago after the news of the team not having fun broke, I posted this on Reddit: https://np.reddit.com/r/bostonceltics/comments/apa4rx/washburn_the_celtics_locker_room_issues_arent/eg6v32z/QuoteI use to play in a league when I was a kid. Double wind-sprints today to burn off those greasy calories!!
If you aren't paying the Athletic your pretty pennies for Jay King's work you should be. Best Celtics beat write right now IMO.
