Gordon Hayward is trending in the right direction:

December: 10.4 PPG, 37% FG
January: 11.5 PPG, 46.5% FG
February: 14.0 PPG, 56.4% FG

I don’t really think his issues have been physical.  He was obviously very passive but I think he too is strggilkng eith his fit in the team.
Especially his fit with rozier who I’m sure is very very difficult to play with.

I don't want to see any more 2 points or 4 points per night from Hayward. Make them go away!!!

I want to see 26 points per night from Hayward!!! That kind of Hayward that I longed dream of having since the summer of 2017!!

It is pretty clear that he doesn't the same explosiveness as he used to do, whether he is driving or jumping off one foot.
There is a psychological component damping his aggressiveness for sure, but physical issues are present.

At least partially they have been physical.  About a month ago he admitted he was still dealing with soreness and rehabbing.  Hopefully he's starting to feel sore less often.

To me, it is as id just needs to get angry out there. He is not going places looking left and right and tip toeing around teammates.  Go out there,  be aggressive, make a mistake, fight, force contact. This was his best game so far, because he really moved great, no hesitation.
I have no doubt he will be that guy this year

There must be a physical aspect to it, you can't just expect complete healing in such a short space of time. His body will compensate for the injury for a long time, and he has to be careful as it will likely increase the chance of other injuries.

The more immediate drawback is probably the mental side though. And that's something that seems to be getting better each time he sees the floor

He still doesn't look quite right, physically, to me. Even last night when he was on fire. Maybe after the all star break he'll look more comfortable.

I think I'd rather see him working out of the post more than he has been. It's not something they go to much but they have had success with it and I think forcing him to be a little more physical would be good.

I think it's time to start Hayward.

He's been playing great and IMO the most complete player on this team, maybe other than Al.

I'd love to see him run point, kind of turn him into a Simmons type role. I think he is our best facilitator at this point of the season.. I know it'll never happen but I think it could work.

TP. I would like to see Coach Stevens go back to the original starting lineup that included Hayward and Brown. Maybe he can start that transition sometime in March, to help give Hayward a little more time to build up his stamina. I think Hayward also splitting duties and playing the point forward will be very beneficial to him in that he seems very comfortable/confident in that role. It would also free up opportunities to let Kyrie be more of a scorer, especially on catch and shoot situations.

Physically he’s not fully back yet but it was nice seeing him with some aggression. I’m fairly sure hitting those two 3’s early gave him a ton of confidence. He even drove against Embiid and drew a foul!

Most of the Celtics avoided driving on Embid directly, but if you attack him directly, you can get him in foul trouble.
