It’s fun knowing I don’t have to check the scores to know if we won or lost a game.

Same here...I can just look at the trade a player posts or the Coach must go posts and know we must have lost....It is why I come less to this site then ever before. It is sad for me as I truly did love coming here more regularly but I just cannot get involved in many of these sky is falling posts(although I am doing that right now). The next loss will be it is all Danny's fault and he must be on the hot seat and go as well...hell, lets become the Phoenix Suns....

You guys are crazy if you think this is Coach Stevens fault.

He isn't the one not playing defense or turning the ball over or jacking up stupid shots.

Just because you're up 28 doesn't mean the game is over and you play lackadaisically like it's some pickup game.

whos job is it to have them ready to play for 48?

in game adjustments?

flat every 3rd quarter?

there is now EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE OF THIS

what are you watching kid?

that is ALL ON THE COACHES.

If the team can't win a game against the depleted clippers up 28 at home

you blame the players, not the coach.

WRONG

the same crap has been going wrong all year and at times for three years

he is not demanding and not holding anyone accountable

how else are we doing that same stuff over and over and over?

that is all on coaching to MAKE CHANGES
LET'S GO CELTICS!

No we’ve got a problem and it’s got to get fixed. You can dismiss Celticsblog posters but Marcus Morris probably knows what he’s talking about.

Morris is part of the problem. He never passes the ball to open teammates, and he argues with officials while the other team is scoring at the other end.

wow...i though i was the only that noticed     Imissed the game and came to the site . This happens many times . I can tell by the thread titles what happened in 2 seconds without checking the game thread or score .   Uh oh .....a fire stevens thread ...LOL...I know the score was bad we lost

Yeah but this was real bad, and glaringly Stevens fault to some degree. Celtics had a 28-point lead. TWENTY-EIGHT POINTS.

I am not sure what kind of threads they expect on a fan board when the team just lost a game as badly as the Cs did.

Mook needs to shut the Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. up and work on getting the youngsters to play as a team, instead of throwing them under the bus when talking to the media. He's obviously in a contract year so I know he's as desperate as guys like Rozier and Jaylen, but he should be telling them how to help the team from the inside instead of pointing fingers.

I suspect he's a big part of the problem, along with Rozier and Brown. These guys resent each other, and Hayward. They want to get paid, and they feel Stevens is spreading minutes thin.

IMO, Stevens failure this year is more in not managing egos properly rather than the game itself.

Nice Guy Brad is too scared to yell at his team...

This team is resenting the minutes given to Hayward, Brad's boy...Been the problem all season long.

Ahhh!!! Let's act like the Cavs and fire coaches every year. Let's throw caution to the wind and continuity in the garbage.

Who can this angry mob take their malice out on? We haven't started threads on the baby-faced guy in the suitcoat in a while. How about him!

I mean, if you want to bury your head in the sand and pretend everything is hunky dory, go ahead.

This isn't some half cocked knee-jerk reaction to a single bad game.  This team has clearly developed a habit of playing lazy basketball when they have a lead, and especially against inferior opponents.  That's the hallmark of a coach whom the players aren't listening to anymore.

or its just a bad mix of players in the locker room.  thats on ainge.  he needed to change the chemistry and didnt do it because he has no pressure on him to win now.

I think Ainge is prepared to sacrifice this season if need be to keep all the pieces to get AD.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Yeah throwning shade in the media isn't a way to fix any ongoing issues.  that was a bush-league move.  He needs to shut tfu and handle inside the locker room.

Inexcusable. The effort isn't there. The scheme isn't there. In-game adjustments are high school. Stevens is getting outcoached because he has script rotations.

I'm glad people are finally seeing what i've been seeing all season. This equal opportunity offense is utter crap and will not work on this level. Kyrie and Tatum are your two best players. They should be on the floor together at all times. Your entire offense needs to flow through them. What do we see instead? Morris getting 10 shots. Smart getting 10 shots. Rozier getting 10 shots. Hayward getting 10 shots. Brown getting 10 shots. Horford getting 10 shots etc. The same guys are subbed in at the same exact times every single game. No timeouts are being called to stop huge runs. The pick and roll defense is getting shredded. There is no protection at the rim (because he refuses to play Williams). Rozier is allowed to play point guard when we all know he can't etc. This guy should absolutely be on the hot seat. Even if Anthony Davis comes and Kyrie re-signs i would not pick this team to win a title with Stevens as coach.
