Coming on the heels of trade deadline and the looming battle for some big time free agents at end of season.
This should become a media frenzy.
I'm glad i got to watch some games back in the day of black and white TV when there was rivalry and competition on the court.
Lebron goes out to LA and wants the whole team traded for one player-that is crazy
The picture of the team at one end and the three empty seats next Lebrons must reinforce Kyries memories of his takeover of Cleveland and firing of Blatt .
.Next will come the smearing of Luke Walton's coaching ability.
Who would put Lance Stephenson,Beasly,Javale McGee and Rondo on the same team.
What organization would take its young players  through this for another 5 months. The league has got to step in --THIS IS NOT A GOOD LOOK

If Lebron comes to your team he will blame others and demands trades and leave teams in ruin.   He only cares about himself and he is in panic mode to try to win some more titles to catch Jordan.

Needless to say, I was glad he went to LA....

The media fallout and endless "Does this mean Kyrie is going to go to the Lakers and have Lebron's baby?" stories would be annoying but as a troll move, I would think it's pretty funny.

He picked him 2nd, and also picked AD, so the media should have a blast

LeBron chose by far, the better team. Not close in my opinion.

LeBron
Durant
Davis
Leonard
Kyrie
Harden
Thompson
Lillard
Westbrook
Aldridge
Towns
Beal
Wade

Versus

Giannis
Embiid
George
Walker
Curry
Middleton
Jokic
Simmons
Griffin
Russell
Vucevic
Lowry
Nowitzki

LeBron chose first from the starters which is a big advantage and then Giannis gave up his advantage of picking first from the reserves by choosing his teammate Middleton first.

Also, Simmons was apparently traded for Westbrook after the draft.  Simmons tweeted "where was Woj on that one?"

Giannis just made some bad choices. LeBron's 2nd 5 might be better than Giannis' starting 5.

Are we looking at the same teams here?  That's Steph and Giannis, not Seth and Kostas.

G - Walker
G - Curry
F - Giannis
F - George
C - Embiid

vs

G - Lillard
G - Klay
F - Simmons
F - Davis
C - Towns

You think that's close, but the starting lineup is not?

Outside of Walker, every Giannis starter can hold their own against team LeBron, while Team LeBron has no answer for Embiid (as a starter), though of course the counter to that is who does Embiid guard on the other end?

I like the makeup of Team Giannis.  Now I'm not saying they're better, but I think it's a good match up.

Yeah I was going to say something similar.  He got stuck with Kemba and took his teammate (instead of Davis), but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Giannis' team win as I think Giannis, Curry, and Embiid are unguardable from James' squad.  And I really like the Paul George on Durant or James in that starting unit (and the other is going to be stuck trying to guard Embiid at least until Davis or Towns is subbed in).  I mean how is James' team going to guard a potential lineup of Embiid, Jokic, Giannis, and then let's say Curry and Westbrook.  That team is unguardable by James' squad.  They don't have the size or quickness to defend that group (and I know it works in reverse, but that is a sneaky defensive unit).

I’m rooting for Kyrie, but seeing Dirk trounce LeBron and Wade again would be the funniest thing ever

Wasn't Simmons traded to LeBum's team for Westbrook?

Why did these idiots schedule this for the same time as the trade deadline?

the

this seems very lopsided .    Harden alone with no defense can hit 60, same with KD . Kyrie , Klay and Lillard .    Giannis and Curry  alone on an island
