I'm guessing this is bad for the Celtics because:

1) Tobias Harris will provide extra firepower against Boston in a 7-game series, with the already built Big 3 in Simmons, Embiid, and Butler.
2) Clippers tank which will kill their draft pick stocks affecting the Anthony Davis sweepstakes.

Isn't it also possible for the Clippers to flip those picks (combined with other players to match salaries) to get AD from NOP? Then they go after max player #2 (KD, Kawhi) in the offseason to team up with AD.

Sixers panicked and now have to overpay two players that are not worth max $$.
This is good for us. We now know what Sixers ceiling is. It’s almost impossible now that we play them this playoffs because pacers won’t finish @3rd seed.

Tobias is a stretch 4 who is a nightmare to guard and will open up the paint a lot for Embiid.

Not to mention we'll lose the LAC 1st rounder, and it increases the chances that SAC makes the playoffs, which makes their pick a lot worse.

Huge in the short term for the Sixers.  Gives them 4 all-star caliber players.  It's big.  If they can get chemistry, they can win the East.

Interesting implications for the Clippers pick we own as well.  Likely falls into the Top 14 which means we'll be able to offer that pick as a future asset... but if they fail to add talent, they could be a lotto team again next year and that pick might convert to a 2nd rounder the year after...

So... yeah... Huge deal.  Can't undersell it.  Tobias Harris is a phenomenal shooter for a team that wants shooting desperately.  Their starting 5 is ridiculous:

I told you guys a while ago I saw them winning the East.  It's going to be a really really competitive playoffs.  Boston has a shot.  Toronto and the Bucks have a shot.  Philly is a beast.  Gonna be interesting.

Can’t undersell what Philly has done this season. Somehow Saric/Covington/Chandler/Shamet/Muscala and a couple of picks got them two all star quality players. I wonder if this now pushes Milwaukee and Toronto to make moves.

Great trade for them, now they are a real threat. The East top 4 teams are all pretty strong now.
