Orlando is trading for Markelle Fultz, league source tells ESPN.

The Magic are sending Jonathan Simmons, a first-round and a second-round pick to the Sixers, per sources.
Amazed Philly got that much for Fultz but can't think of a more demonstrative way to show how far and fast a number pick's stock can drop.

Can't help myself from snickering at some poster's comments over the summer and during the season that they 'knew' Fultz' value was as high or higher than Tatum's or Brown's on the trade market when the talk was about what it would take to get Kawhi.   ::)

The Hornets were not able to find a trade partner for Frank Kaminsky, source tells SN. He is expected to be a buyout candidate in Charlotte.

Meh...at this point anything the Cs achieve will be icing on the cake. This season has felt a bit doomed from the start. Hayward not being close to himself, the Kyrie mess, the chemistry issues, the underachieving play.

Boston is clearly the 4th best team in the East now and are true underdogs.

which has increased the chances of Kyrie not being happy, which has increased the chances of overpaying for Davis, which  has increased the chances of him not staying.

It’s OKC’s top 20 protected first in 2020, becomes two 2nds if it doesn’t convey

Anthony Davis’ agent Rich Paul tells me Davis is not being traded today

Duhhhhhhhh!

Celtics frontrunners for him again!

Are we frontrunners on his list though (or even on it)? That's the big question.

Was Perk and Nate for Green and Kristic the last big move Ainge made at the trade deadline?

Can't believe that was 8 years ago.

Was IT a trade deadline deal?

i dont know about that,   it's going to actually come down to who plays better and maybe home court.   does feel like ainge has no pressure on him from anywhere,  neither the fans nor management.

I wonder if it will be empowering or demoralizing for the guys if we end up standing pat.

Empowering, I would imagine. You can bet they believe in themselves, even if nobody else does.

The Boston Celtics, possibly at their own risk, are officially part of the Anthony Davis Sweepstakes as the Pelicans keep Davis beyond the 2019 trade deadline
