There's obviously no guarantees that Kyrie will re-sign, just as there are no guarantees in life. But if you look at probabilities, based on what he has said, how he has behaved, I would suggest it is more likely he will re-sign than not. It's not 100% but that's why Danny gets paid the big bucks, to make decisions based on incomplete information and uncertainty. You do what is in your power to keep him here and if he leaves so be it. I'm sure there's a contingency plan for Kyrie not re-signing, Danny would be silly to not cover all the possibilities no matter how small.
