It's weird that this team has become unlikable so fast...Ainge's patience is starting to feel negligent.

Well, with more minutes terry plays better.

With more minutes with Hayward the team plays worse.

Yeah. I think terry has a leg to stand on.

Gordon has been trash

The question has to be asked, is Hayward getting better with more PT? It seems to me until he gets over this mental block he has going it won’t matter much either way.

It's not a 'report' so much as it is somebody stitching together two tangentially-related quotes in an attempt to make a story.  Rozier acknowledged that it's difficult to fit the pieces together on a team with so much talent.  He did not express frustration with Hayward's minutes or role.  Taking the former to mean the latter is a reach.

All of that said, I'm not sure any of our young players have the right to throw stones this year.

Brown to starting line-up.  He's served his punishment long enough.

Kyrie 32 / Rozier 16
Smart 30 / Hayward 10 / Rozier 8
Brown 26 / Hayward 14 / Morris 8
Tatum 30 / Morris 18
Horford 28 / Baynes 14 / Theis 6
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Morris has just been better than him all year. He can have his spot back when he outplays him.

Translation:

Terry Rozier and his buddies at the end of the bench (e.g. Yabu, Semi etc) don't understand why Gordon Hayward gets to play more minutes than them.

"He's already been paid, I need to earn my next contract!"

Not sure about Yabu and Semi, etc., but I agree that Rozier is the main problem child here. And he's done very little this season to warrant more playing time.

Hasn't something like this been posted before? Even then, I don't think it's a non-issue. If anyone should be frustrated, it should be Rozier for literally offering nothing to the team... This guy is averaging a measly 8.7 PPG, and 2.9 APG in about 23 MPG... On dreadful and woeful 38% FG... No one should be pointing any fingers, nonetheless someone like Rozier.

Yeah, the only guy who can really beef about this is right now is Jaylen Brown. But he was just saying that he likes coming off the bench because he can just attack and score. No one else has given any reason as to why they're deserving of more minutes.

Yeah, Brown seems to have really settled in well in his role as a bench scorer. And he's been taking the ball to the hoop much more often lately, which is great.

Hayward has been bad, no question, but at least he's got his injury as an explanation. What's Terry's excuse? His feelings are hurt because he has to play behind Irving and Smart - players who are much, much better than he is? Boo hoo. Stop jacking bad shots and play the right way, the minutes will come.

On-off is a leaky stat, but for what it's worth Terry's numbers are worse than Hayward's.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/roziete01/on-off/2019 (net -10.9 to have TR on the floor)
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/haywago01/on-off/2019 (net -8.8 to have Hayward on the floor)

If we decided Hayward has to pack it in for the year for one reason or another, the guy who should get his minutes is probably Semi, not Terry. Better defense, much better shot selection, not a ball magnet. Knows his role and plays it.

We are getting close to that point. Small sample size, but over the past five games I'm going to say Brown has been about even with Mook; better on counting stats, but overall about even. Going to be interesting to see how things develop over the next 24 games.

The guy I'm most worried about is Tatum, who still seems to be struggling to figure out his role. He did not play well against Brooklyn.

That's some rough coaching if you're pulling a player who has started 29 games to overall success. (21-8) out of the starting lineup because his three point shooting has dipped from the unsustainable highs he hit earlier this year.

I agree with this, but what's important is whether the team plays better as a whole.

Brown and Hayward are both guys who need to have the ball.  Rozier compounds the problem even more.  Hayward would benefit enormously from playing with a pick and pop guy like Morris.  Better balanced bench and more drive-and-kicks for the starting line-up.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Not trying to discount what Morris has been doing, but I think more people would point to Smart as that glue for our success.

The Celtics need to do something to lift the curse of Isaiah.
