On Feb. 7th it's the trade deadline and Celtics vs Lakers play each other....oh the irony. The schedule makers are clairvoyant. 😉😎

It could be a bad week for LA vs Boston sports teams.

Can someone find a Magic Johnson or Lebron James tweet congratulating the L.A. Rams' victory over New Orleans Saints and send it to Pelicans management?

That will end any further possibility of Davis being traded to the Lakers!!

Yep, my brother will be on a plane to Boston when the deadline passes and I'm taking him to the game a few hours later.

Really, REALLY hoping AD doesn't get moved so we can loudly gloat and ridicule whoever seems relevant instead of be depressed watching AD drop like 45+ in the garden for the 3rd-4th straight time in a row.  Him not getting moved is a win for us and a loss for them- things could end up not going our way this summer, but this game would still be a fantastic time to unload frustrations over all this BS.

Also, send them a picture of Drew Brees at a Pelicans game wearing a Red Sox hat and Patriots colored sneakers.

If reports are true that the Pelicans GM Demps isnt taking calls, tells me they're p---ed about Bron and Paul messing with their superstar and disrupting their season.

I don't think a trade of this magnitude will happen by next Thursday. Too many moving pieces and I don't think GMs are very happy with Klutch Sports trying to dictate publicly how the balance of the league shifts.

Call me crazy (been called worse, lol) but I'd be OK if we do NOT get AD..

Looking at him sitting on the bench last night - while his (former) team was pulling out an improbable victory ON THE ROAD versus HOU - made me realize that IMO he's not Celtics material..

IMMENSELY TALENTED....he may not yell and scream like KG did, or butt his head on the basketball stancion like KG did, or TALK to himself like KG did, BUT his skills are KG-Like.

If it is his ultimate purpose in getting to LA then HERE - let me help him

I "personally" don't want a RENTAL...cleaning out our talented cupboard for a future Laker wannabe.

I want players that WANT to BE HERE.

As for Kyrie - I will take him at his WORD - he has said he wants to be in BOS long-term and said he plans on resigning. But if he DON'T then...

....at least we would've HAD someone who would've thrown himself on a sword for BOS. Better to have HAD someone like him then to NOT have someone like him at all.

don't think KG and Ray wanted or asked to be in Boston .  But , they did good when they got to,play n ball.

I think , he would fit in good long as Kyrie is with Boston.

its nice to have guys that are asking to play on Boston.  But , thas just not the case with Stars anyway.

Durrant was an EC guy , and yet he is out west.  Young guys are just drawn , by the TV money , sun and fun.

If the Pelicans just sit AD and end up in the lottery. They could end up with 5 #1 picks if they trade with Celtics...that's nuts.

They can use them to move up and grab Zion.

Somehow I see the Knicks winning the lottery

I love the team we put on the floor tonight. I really don't care if we sign anyone else.

Is it just me, or did Kyrie look sad after we won tonight?

Might be the most intelligent thing that will be written in this thread. Many GMs are fuming over it.

Or because he knows he's going to be asked about nonsense rumours for the next few days.
