Just watched the last 8 minutes of this game on NBA network.
Agree with initial post here that Celtics mass too many guys on the perimeter and leave the paint wide open. They shoot a 3, miss it, and then a Warriors guy drives down the court for an easy layup. Happened several times.
The Warriors have three guys who shoot the 3, and you know who they are. The Celtics have 10 guys who shoot the 3.
Other noticeable things: Kyrie keeps the ball too much--tries to do it all himself at times. He's the only guy who goes to the basket. Everybody else just hangs on the perimeter. Is that the coaching, or what?
The other thing is they lost the game when the missed foul shot by Green bounced right back to him. The Celtics had nobody big under the boards to make sure that didn't happen. They also had no answer to Cousins under the defensive boards at times. He out jumped everybody, and got an important offensive rebound near the end, jumping over everybody. Maybe that's why Ainge recalled Robert Williams after the game.
The Warriors have a better team than the Celtics. They play smarter, and their offense is more versatile. They get better shots.
